Acrylic paint works very well on canvas and remains, to a certain degree, flexible when dry. So any movement of the canvas on the bag would be tolerated to a certain degree. Obviously if you bend the canvas to an extreme degree this will damage the paint. The paint is fully waterproof when dry so there will be no issues on that front either.
